Bachelor of Education (B.Ed)

Academic Focus :

The Prof Qoumrul Hoque School of Education, USTM offers full time B.Ed (approved by NCTE) programme. The focus of the department is on imparting quality teachers’ education and the course curriculum has been designed keeping in mind the academic specific needs. It uses a number of pedagogical methods, including case-studies, lectures, simulations and integrative exercises. Our curriculum provides the students with a lifelong framework of practical and intellectual skills that will serve them throughout their career. Initiatives have been taken to open teacher education programme to strengthen the quality of both pre-service and in-service teachers.

Prof Qoumrul Hoque School of Education, USTM provides the right atmosphere to develop an ideal Teacher out of an individual, the program aims to groom students into a competent Mentor with:

Duration : Two year

Eligibility : Graduate in any discipline with 50% marks in aggregate (5% relaxation for candidates having 5years or more teaching experience )

N.B.: "Graduation or Post-Graduation Degree with fifty per cent marks: Provided that the requirement of fifty per cent marks shall not apply to persons appointed as teachers prior to the commencement of the National Council for Teacher Education (Regulations Norms and Procedure) Second Amendment Regulations, 2010."
